You are invited to include the name of your
deceased loved one(s); stop in the chapel any time during November to
write in the name(s).

"Families of Abraham"

narrative exhibit celebrating life and faith traditions of Jewish,
Christian and Muslim families. Sponsored by the Lubar Institute for the
Study of the Abrahamic Religions (LISAR) of The University of
Wisconsin-Madison, and by Edgewood College.

"The Heart of the Home:
Food and Family in the Abrahamic Traditions."
Food and family play a powerful role in religious identity. Discussion
participants: Sara Ben-Ami, owner of B'Tavayon Catering; Rev. Katie
Baardseth, pastor of Midvale Community Church; Rohany Nayan, former
principal, Madinah Academy. Audience participation invited. Followed by
reception and visit to DeRicci Gallery.

Reflection
Thursdays, 9:30 to 9:45 am, St. Joseph Chapel
Take a short break in your
busy week, for a few minutes of quiet contemplation with other Edgewood
Community members. Each 15-minute session in this once-weekly series of
brief reflections is led by a community member. The focus may include
guided imagery, a brief spiritual, scripture or ecumenical reading, or a
variety of other offerings to refresh your mind and spirit. You’re
welcome to attend whenever your schedule permits. Sponsored by Human
Resources and College Ministries.
