Writing Specialist

The Writing Center is staffed by student tutors, supervised by one full-time Writing Specialist, Angela Woodward. All tutoring is drop-in, first come, first served. In some circumstances, you may want to make an appointment with the Writing Specialist. 

Make an appointment if:

• Your instructor has advised you to see Angela.
• It is difficult for you to get to the Writing Center during drop-in hours, and you need to make sure someone is there to work with you.
• You want help starting a personal essay for graduate school.
• Help you have gotten from a peer tutor wasn’t satisfactory.
