Guidelines for Academic
Self-Assessment
You may not have received a great deal of
feedback in your classes up to this point - that’s not uncommon
in college. Use the following guidelines to review your
progress before asking your instructor for his or her feedback
on the “Student Feedback Request” form.
1. Examine your
course syllabi to identify factors your instructors will take
into consideration when grading. Note what percentage (or
how many points) of your final grade will be weighted on each of
these stated factors. Record any classes of concern below:
